This journey began in January of 2009 when two friends decided to venture into a new craft. For years we had enjoyed sewing, cooking, entertaining, stamping and party planning. We’d always been interested in baking and cake decorating, so we determined that Wilton classes would be the next logical step in our pursuit to learn a new skill. After three months and several Wilton certificates, we were well on our way to mastering the art of cake decorating.

Our first custom cake was created for a golf lover’s birthday (picture at right). As this photo was passed from person to person we were inundated with requests for a variety of cakes! It was at this moment that we realized that this interest could be more than a hobby, it could be a part time venture.
